Virginia is home because I found a tenure track teaching job here. I'm a retired college history prof and a former newspaper reporter. I was borning ENgland--my parents were English--I spent my childhood outside Montreal, bhtn my family moved to Oklahoma. I got all my college degrees--in psychology, journalism, and history--at the University of Oklahoma. Met my first and seconds wives there, both now sadly dead. Moved to Virginia in 2000. I'm a published novelist & short story writer--have seven books published an eighth coming of later this year. I love strong women. I just lost by second wife, whom I was with for 36 years, and not want to be alone. I love to read, played guitar in a Celtic band ( recorded one album) I like to sing, to laugh, to kiss and cuddle, and enjoy affection & being affectionate. I' m politically progressive, not religious, love animals, I'm a vegetarian and can cook, have also brewed my own beer & wine. I love ladies who love lingerie, leather, and latex, garters and stockings and high heels. I have a specail affection for ladies who smoke and use cigarette holders. but that's not a deal breaker (my second wife was a non-smoker, though my first was one.) I love folk music, and books, and I enjoy shopping with my ladies, I'll do what every want romantically, and like women who can be dominant. If you want peace & quiet or excitement, I can accommodate. Mostly, I want to make my lady friends smile, and laugh a,d reassure them when things are tough. GIve me a chance and I can make you happy.
